Recipient: Jennifer Zhen ($250.00 Award) Charity: Key Club Coquitlam ($250.00 Award) She volunteers with Key Club International, a student-led, high school volunteer organization. Key Club has a major emphasis on serving children; it is a club led by children serving the children of the world. She started as an active member of the club and have volunteered over 400 hours to organizations and event during the past 5 years with Key Club.     Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award

    Every year, Soroptimist International of Vancouver recognizes young women between ages 14 and 17 who make the community and world a better place through volunteer efforts. Congratulations! In April 2013, 3 young women and the clubs they have volunteered for had received Awards. We applaud their efforts to make our community and the world a better place.     2013 Women’s Opportunity Awards Recipient Aziza’s story is one of pain, but more so of the triumph of spirit to overcome, and a story of how women (like you!) were instrumental in changing Aziza’s reality. She is not a victim, but a survivor, and she flourishes in her new life.
